Would You Wear… Knee-High Gladiator Boots?

Gladiator flats are one thing but are knee-high gladiator boots too much? Rihanna, Lindsay, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen don’t think so:

Those who are for it think they’re hot. As seen on these celebs, you can pair them with shorts and a blazer like Rihanna, a tank top and denim shorts like LL or make them red-carpet-ready like MK&A. It’s kind of like they’re trying to tell us that knee-high gladiator boots are a “really versatile piece, people!”. And if you’re going to rock the gladiator sandal look, why not go all out like the real thing right? In fact, why not throw in a pair of gauntlets and maybe carry a sword and shield around with you too?

Those who don’t like it think they’re totally outrageous and over the top. They’re only a frivolous purchase and look like they’re 5 minutes away from going out of style. Can you really just put knee-high gladiator boots on and go out for pretzels and lemonade like what Lindsay did? Think about the tan lines you’ll be getting if you ever DO go out during the day time in these boots!
