Dries Van Noten’s Spring 2010 Raffia Bootie

31 January 2010 One Comment

Ladies, here’s my current fixation:

Dries Van Noten Raffia Bootie (Spring 2010 Release)

I cannot get it out of my head. And I know I might not be able to afford it either. I tried searching for the price tag of this shoe but I couldn’t find one. Dries Van Noten will be releasing the Raffia Bootie this coming spring 2010, just a few months away, so I’m actually excited to know how much it will cost. Let’s hope it’s within my “reasonable range”. Otherwise, I will end up looking for a knock off, and I highly doubt I will find a good one. If any of you come across such a look-a-like, please do let me know.

Mind you, this isn’t like any other bootie in the market. The difference is plain to see, of course. The exquisitely woven material of the shoe is what makes it so comely and enticing to wear. The slim and tall heel is just perfect, the kind that would make any lady look sexy and expensive while wearing it.

I actually tried searching for a similar pair online but I couldn’t find one. What I did find were these shoes from GUESS and Sigerson Morrison. Not exactly what I was looking for, more like distant relatives of the Raffia Bootie, but still worth looking at.

GUESS Shoes Rommy, US$40

Sigerson Morrison 9766 Caged Mules, US$699
