I thought it’d be fun to do “most expensive” lists like this once in a while, not so that we can torture ourselves looking at things we can’t possibly afford, but so that we can laugh at how ridiculously priced some things are. Luxury items are sometimes priced so way out there that it makes you want to laugh at their designers… unless, you actually have the means to buy such things and if you do, then we officially envy you.
This changes from time to time depending on what’s in stock but for now, here are the 5 most expensive shoes at Zappos. Starting with number 5:
5. Giuseppe Zanotti E00232 Zip Cuffed Jewel Sandals
I can actually see why these Giuseppe Zanotti E00232 sandals are priced at $1,360.00. They’re encrusted with gold and silver embellishments and like actual jewels, I bet these sandals have got some “weight” to them. Audrina Patridge wore them to the MTV Movie Awards:

4. Stuart Weitzman Litemeup Sandals
As for these Stuart Weitzman Litemeup sandals, I don’t see why they’re a staggering $1,450.00. Okay, they’re studded with genuine Swarovski crsytals, but the sandal design itself isn’t anything special. You can achieve the same look with cheap rhinestones, but if you’re particular about your sparkly crystals, then hey, I’m not stopping you from buying these Stuart Weitzmans!
3. DSquared2 S10J011075 54 Boots
I think the identical twin brother team of Dean and Dan Caten behind the DSquared2 label is fabulous, so that opinion – unfair as it may be – automatically extends to these DSquared2 S10J011075 54 boots. The top may be just a buckled leather boot, but that 6-inch high heel and that 2 1/2-inch platform sole is just insane. These boots take 3rd place in this most expensive list at $1,529.00.
2. Giuseppe Zanotti E00155 Studded Ankle Boots
Another Giuseppe Zanotti creation makes this list. Apparently the designers behind the GZ brand have got something for anything studded, as can be clearly seen on these Giuseppe Zanotti E00155 strappy ankle boots. I’m loving the candy-colored beads against the yellow straps, but not its $1,595.00 price tag.
1. D&G Dolce & Gabbana DS2232E1785 Fringe Boots
And the most expensive shoe of them all, the D&G Dolce & Gabbana DS2232E1785 fringe boots. I didn’t even think that fringe boots are still in fashion, but at a $1,799.00 price point, then these from D&G better not go out of style for a looong time.
