Check out these pictures of SJP taken on May 25 when appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to promote “Sex and the City 2”!

I love this SJP look. It’s so effortlessly chic, like she just decided to put the pieces together without caring if it’ll look good or not. The combination is spot on and perfect, even with the use of glitter (purse) on glitter (zebra patterned sequined dress).

The highlight, however, was the pair on her feet. Her lace up cutout booties are drop-dead edgy. The burst of blue is a great contrast to the white oversized Stella McCartney blazer and zebra patterned dress. At the same time, the cutout design is so beautifully unfamiliar that I simply fall speechless when I look at it.

In case you’re curious, the booties are by Nicholas Kirkwood. I am not sure how much a pair costs exactly, but Nicholas Kirkwood shoes go well around the $800 to $900 mark so expect it to be that much or maybe more. You can shop for Nicholas Kirkwood shoes at Neiman Marcus and Saks.

The night before, she paired the same booties with a lace Elie Saab dress:

Sarah Jessica Parker also wore Nicholas Kirkwood heels to a promotion even in April. She paired them with a white draped dress and a large gold heart pendant:
