Taylor Momsen Keeps it Classy

I know I’m a bit late writing about Taylor Momsen’s hooker heels, but her shoes were really NOT the first thing people noticed when these pictures came out, okay? I would’ve included more pictures from the set but I am not about to post underage upskirt shots on our lovely blog about shoes.

As soon as people (including me) got over the initial shock of Taylor’s, um, state of undress at her band’s Warped Tour performance, they realized that it wasn’t over yet and they still had to contend with the rest of her outfit. Well, the rest of what’s there anyway, because there really isn’t much except for her shoes. And wow, what shoes they are:

If this is some kind of a joke, either I fail to get it or it’s very poorly delivered. I’m quite sure that this is all just an image thing for Taylor Momsen, but underwear, smoking and hooker heels are not what I want to imagine on a 16-year-old.

If this was all just for publicity, then good job Taylor because you got everyone talking about you (though the same can’t be said for her parents who seem to be non-existent at the moment). This whole stripper and underwear-as-outerwear look has also led me to find her shoes and yes, I DID FIND HER SHOES:

They’re the Tipjar 728-5 clear ankle strap platform sandals from who else but Pleaser (self-proclaimed “premiere maker of sexy and alternative footwear”), and wow, there are like a dozen more variations of them:

Taylor Momsen did eventually let someone put dollar bills in her shoes later at that concert and it also looks like she’ll be wearing this whole costume for the rest of the Warped Tour:
