Thandie Newton Workin’ it in Brown Gladiator Wedges

Thandie Newton hardly ever comes out in celebrity gossip sites so these pictures of her shopping in London last Wednesday are a rare treat:

She’s one of my favorite faces to see on screen so seeing her looking this good during her down time is such a thrill for me.

Thandie Newton accentuated her mostly grey shopping outfit with splashes of brown on her shoulder bag and her wedges. I love how she strapped her wedges over the hem of her jeans! :

I tried ID’ing Thandie’s gladiator wedges but the closest I came to spotting them exactly were these Gladiator Platforms from French designer Barbara Bui:

They’re not wedges and the brown color on these is darker, but the braided straps, the cutouts and even the number of eyelets on the side of the vamp are the same and everything.

Could it be that Thandie Newton has a limited wedge version of the Barbara Bui Gladiator Platforms? Or could she be wearing (gasp! … well, no, not really) knockoffs?
