It’s difficult to imagine that shoes like these Alexander McQueen 254425WAIG3 Gold Floral-Engraved Buckle Leather Boots would NOT be the first thing you would notice on someone wearing them, but that’s how it was on these extravagantly-dressed models. In fact, that’s how it was for this entire mind-blowing Alexander McQueen show:
It’s a collection that hits you and hits you hard. The boots, though undeniably a statement piece, become only but a part of a bigger, more striking and more beautiful whole.
The pictures above are from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 Ready-To-Wear runway show, the last collection that the late great Alexander McQueen worked on himself before his shocking suicide February of this year. That means the boots are also one of the very last things Alexander McQueen himself approved of, which means that they are, of course, very expensive.
The Alexander McQueen 254425WAIG3 Gold Floral-Engraved Buckle Leather Boots are $3,995.00 and are currently the most expensive shoes at Zappos.
Surprisingly, Zappos doesn’t carry the size 8 anymore, but Net-A-Porter does have them, albeit even more expensive at $4,195.00. But what’s $200 when you’re paying those prices. And what’s a few thousand dollars (if you can afford it) when you can have a piece of Alexander McQueen’s legend in your own possession.
