Obviously, judging from the title, my article today is more like a question. As to what that question is related to, it’s about the Ruthie Davis Pump and Flat Combo that I found at Amazon.
It is quite a unique offering from the designer. Basically, the combo will give you (if you buy it) two pairs of Ruthie Davis shoes – a set of heeled pumps, and a set of flat versions (same color as the pumps), and an extra dustbag for storing the spare shoes.
The idea behind it is that you use the (heeled) pumps for appropriate engagements and then have the option to use the matching flats when you need to commute or run around (to do errands) but don’t want to compromise your well-planned outfit (ergo, not wear flats that don’t match that outfit).
The Combos come in three styles and a load of colors from purple, to black, to red. Have a look:

Ruthie Davis Combos retailed between $698 to $798. So here’s my question, would you buy it in a snap? Or would you rather just make your own combo?
