We’ve already seen the Charlotte Olympia Paloma pumps a dozen times, here’s another pair from the designer to fall over – the Dolly Suede Platform Pumps.
Tell me, isn’t it gorgeous? It’s a classic with just the right amount of glam displayed through its angular 1.5 inch gold recessed platforms. The stiletto heels tower at 6 inches, a sexy height that is actually quite manageable with the platforms around.
Although the black and gold combination is what keeps it aesthetically appealing, what I actually love about the Dolly is its toe – not too pointy that it looks old fashioned, yet not too round either that it looks stubby. It has achieved that balance, making it modern enough while staying a classic.
Perfect Toe Shape
I guess the only point that I don’t like about these beautiful shoes is its price tag. It retails for a somewhat heavy $795, an amount that is not exactly affordable for everyone. If you can shell out that much for a pair, you can find the Charlotte Olympia Dolly Suede at Neiman Marcus. You’ll need to rush because only two pairs are left.
If you want less expensive choices, I have to tell, it was impossible to find. For some reason, I couldn’t find the black suede and gold platform combination. However, if it’s just the silhouette you’re after, you might want to try out the Steve Madden Mercyy in Black Suede. It retails at $140; you can find it at Amazon.
