Here’s what it takes to get Jeffrey Campbell to design a shoe for you.

Become obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell, wear only Jeffrey Campbell and have a closet full of ONLY Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Also, don’t you just love how she organized her shoe closet?

That’s the sort of dedication to Jeffrey Campbell that Asami, the Japan-based fashion blogger behind Pink Kitten (blog is now offline), displays on her blog that got the attention of the people over at Jeffrey Campbell. Asami blogs 100% exclusively about her love of JC shoes, which prompted Jeffrey Campbell to (much deservedly) declare her as their “number one supporter”, their “biggest fan in the world”, and to declare that they “love her back too”.

It’s a beautiful shoe romance that has finally come full circle now that Jeffrey Campbell has designed a shoe for Pink Kitten. The product of that love is the aptly named Jeffrey Campbell P Kitten Shoe and here is what it looks like:

For a self-confessed Jeffrey Campbell addict who has promised to buy ONLY Jeffrey Campbell shoes, it really can’t get any better than this.

But wait a minute, doesn’t the P Kitten look almost exactly like these Christian Louboutin Misfits (which we’ve spotted on Jessica Szohr and Kim Kardashian before)?

Don’t get me wrong, having your favorite shoe designer make and name a shoe after you is an incredible thing to happen on any day, but finding out that THAT shoe is a Christian Louboutin knockoff does sort of take some of the thrill away.

How would you feel if your favorite shoe designer named a shoe after you and then you find out that they’re knockoffs?

Anyway, I’m sure Pink Kitten will and CAN still rock the soles off of her shoes, and any shoe lover would be envious of her amazing shoe romance. Besides, the P Kittens are a great inexpensive alternative to the Christian Louboutin Misfits, which were $1,425.00 and are now sold out everywhere.
