Since so many of you loved Selena Gomez’s Giuseppe Zanotti chiffon bow sandals, I think many of you would appreciate these Diane von Furstenbergs too:
These are the Diane von Furstenberg Eva Scarf Tie Platform Sandals in mushroom, which is this shoe’s most popular color. But as lovely as they are, however, I think these sandals were better in theory.

Yes, like the Giuseppe Zanottis, these DVFs have the big, beautiful bow too. But unlike the Giuseppe Zanottis, the bow on these DVFs drag on the floor making them pretty much unwalkable on floors that aren’t carpeted.
Okay, so you CAN tie the scarf so that it doesn’t touch the ground but the thing is, the scarf is made of silk satin. And if you’ve ever tried tying silk satin or even attempted to keep it in place, you’d know that that fabric has a mind of its own and never does hold for very long.
So no tying up the leg for these sandals. All you can do is tie the scarf into a bow and pray that it doesn’t keep undoing itself.
There is some good news though — the scarf is detachable and you can wear the sandals without them:
But then again, it was the scarf that made these sandals so to wear them just like this kind of loses the whole point.
Still, it’s a lovely sandal and its style is really versatile for this spring and summer.
