You just can’t ignore shoes that have the words “4 the cool people” in its label. Of course, the expectations are a little higher because they have to be as cool as they claim to be.
Okay, so in reality these Steve Madden 4 The Cool People shoes aren’t just “for the cool people”. These shoes are actually styles which were handpicked by Steve Madden FOR the shoe label The Cool People.
Not a lot of information about this new shoe brand is available except for the short bit that they’re part of the ALDO collection. We compared shoes from The Cool People with shoes from Aldo and honestly, we didn’t see enough of a difference to warrant the creation of a new and separate brand.
The difference we DID see is in the brand’s description which says that “The Cool People is a cutting edge brand who is committed to bettering the world through charitable contributions… The Cool People is all about giving back. A portion of their sales goes directly to charity.”
So, Aldo had to create a sub-brand just to give to charity?
Anyway, Steve Madden’s choice of shoe styles is undoubtedly influenced by this season’s 70s trend. The Cool People collection actually only has a handful of these styles but Steve Madden chose to highlight these boho, earthy chic styles.
Here are the five pairs of shoes chosen by Steve Madden for the first Steve Madden 4 The Cool People collection. Will a collaboration be up next?
