Demi Lovato’s Jeffrey Campbell Darian Woven Wedges are the Knockoffs of the Alejandro Ingelmo for Chris Benz Woven Wedges

July 27, 2011 • By Erika

Demi Lovato was spotted leaving the airport in Los Angeles and arriving at the one in Miami last Sunday.

The 18-year-old songstress wore this pair of woven wedges for the cross-country flight that initially got us thinking that they were the Alejandro Ingelmo for Chris Benz woven wedges.

Check ‘em out:

Demi Lovato gets on a departing flight at LAX and lands at the international airport in Miami, Florida on July 24, 2011

Here’s a close-up of Demi’s shoes:

And here are the Alejandro Ingelmo for Chris Benz woven wedges:

Can you already spot the differences?

Demi Lovato’s shoes which have thicker straps, a more squarish vamp and a less severe instep arc are clearly not the Alejandro Ingelmo from Chris Benz ones but rather these ones Jeffrey Campbell:

We also initially thought that the difference in color was due to the lighting and the camera flash but as you can see, Demi Lovato’s Jeffrey Campbells really do have a more yellowish, mustard brown-ish shade.

Disregarding prices, which one do you prefer – the Alejandro Ingelmo for Chris Benz originals or the Jeffrey Campbell knockoffs?

The Alejandro Ingelmo for Chris Benz woven wedges are $397.50 (marked down from $795.00) at Shopbop. The Jeffrey Campbell Darian woven wedges are $142.00 at Tobi.

You can also find more colors of the Jeffrey Campbell shoes (black, floral, metallic and an actual taupe color) retailing for $144.95 at Solestruck.

If you ask us, the Alejandro Ingelmos are definitely more sexy but the Jeffrey Campbell ones would probably be a lot more forgiving to our feet!
