We know most of you are off enjoying the holidays so rather than posting pretty shoes that you might not see while you are away, we thought we’d go the opposite route and feature some ugly questionable shoes instead.

Jeffrey Campbell gives “star-studded” a whole new meaning. And hey, for those of you who are reading this, you also might want to consider these starry/star-spangled/bursting with stars/whatever you want to call it booties as your next shoes for ringing in the new year.

We reconsidered calling these booties “ugly”  because these actually do have a certain appeal. We’re even liking the Dior-like blocky platform coupled with the 4 1/2″ stiletto heel ourselves. But what do you think of the silver star studs  – okay or overkill?
