In 2010, Kate Bosworth starred in the martial arts film “The Warrior’s Way.” The film was a critical and commercial failure, grossing only $11 million worldwide against a budget of $42 million.

The painting in the saloon in the movie “The Warrior’s Way” is a parody of Édouard Manet’s famous painting “Le Déjeuner sur l’Herbe” (Luncheon on the Grass).

The parody changes the setting from a bucolic meadow to the American prairie and the figures from Renaissance-style aristocrats to Native Americans. The painting also adds a buffalo and a tepee in the background.

On December 3, 2010, when “The Warrior’s Way” was released, the cast members’ ages were as follows: Geoffrey Rush – 59, Kate Bosworth – 27, Danny Huston – 48, Jang Dong-gun – 38, Tony Cox – 52, and Ti Lung – 64.
