The Mid-Heel: 10 to Grab for Those Who Can’t Walk in Sky High Stilts

January 26, 2012 • By Roselle

Not everyone can walk in 4 inch stilts. And not all shoe-holics or shoe addicts are into very high heels either. This, we here at YourNextShoes, have come to realize. And here’s the thing, some even actually prefer no platforms. Even on our Facebook page, we get comments and requests for mid-heel shoes every now and then. So to all you ladies out there wanting some heels you can walk in ALL day long, we hear yah. This entry is dedicated ESPECIALLY for you.

Before anything else, allow us to define what the mid-heel is. The mid-heel falls right in…well…the middle. It’s not too high, but it’s not too low either. By definition, the mid-heel is anywhere between 2 to 2.75 inches. Once you hit 3 inches, that’s already considered high; and anything beyond 4.75 inches would be counted as very high.

Truth be told, it was a little difficult for us to find gorgeous sexy shoes with mid-heels on them. But after quite a long search, we  did manage to unearth ten (10) pretty enough for this post. Note that most of the closed-toe shoes we’re featuring here have pointed toes in ‘em, and that’s simply because it’s not at all flattering to the legs to wear something low with a round toe.

So let’s get down to it, shall we? Here are those 10 mid-heel shoes for you. Check these out and see if you find anything worth snagging. To shop simply head over to the corresponding store. Enjoy!
