Spring 2012 Shoe Trend: Neon Colors at Eyeball-Wrecking Levels

It’s not just Pour La Victoire, Fergie, Betsey Johnson or Jeffrey Campbell who are doing neon for this upcoming spring season. The big names like Brian Atwood, Casadei and Nicholas Kirkwood are all doing it too! Actually, like most shoe trends, the neon craze started at the top designer labels and then trickled down to other shoe brands. In this trend adaptation process, the prices are typically lowered, the quality sacrificed and the original design watered down, but for this particular trend, the brightness of the neon colors remained intact all throughout.

For this spring, expect neon colors on shoes to be at eyeball-wrecking ultra-bright levels. Bring out your black, white and neutral warm-weather clothes because this spring, the attention is all going to be on your feet!
