Here’s an interesting find while I was browsing through the new shoes at HEELS. Check out these two sandals from Fergie and Shoe Republic. Minus the color and type of materials used, the silhouettes of the two are exactly alike!

What a resemblance, yes? In fact, if you didn’t know it, you’d assume both sandals are from the same brand. Just goes to show how some (or perhaps most?) brands get their designs  from the same source (or group of sources).

And here’s the thing, as you can see, one (Fergie) is priced considerably higher than the other (Shoe Republic) – though it could most probably be due to the material, since the Fergie Paris does use genuine suede as supposed to Shoe Republic’s all-synthetic Prime. But then again, I also can’t help but wonder whether the celebrity name is causing that price difference.

Now here’s what I’m going to ask you, which of the two would you buy? Would you pick the classic Black Fergie with its stacked heel and platform, or would you go for the tri-tone and textured Shoe Republic, which is also much cheaper?
