I love Nicole Scherzinger for her typically great shoe choices and countless other talents.
However, just the other day we we spotted her in a metallic sparkly dress by Haute Hippie paired with bright gold Giuseppe Zanotti slingbacks. She accessorized with jewelry by Norman Silverman and Loree Rodkin.
Would you style a metallic heel with a metallic dress? I think the element is better left as an accessory instead of a head to toe color choice:

Do you see what we mean by a bit too much metallic? Gold is great but too much of a good thing can definitely be bad.
I would have opted for a different heel with this dress. Perhaps a strappy black sandal with gold details would have been more appropriate. Even a red or plum colored pump would have worked and broken up the continual sheen a bit.
We found Nicole’s heels in the same glamorous shade at Amazon:
These platform slingback pumps feature an open toe and over sized bow detail. They have a very sleek and modern design but the shiny gold metallic leather makes them really fun and flirty as well.
I’d like to wear them with a little black dress or sexy super skinny cropped jeans instead of a metallic cocktail dress. They’d even work with some prints if the pattern is low key and the colors work.
The question is really more about Nicole choosing them for this ensemble. Do you like it?
