We found this black Manolo Blahnik bootie a while back and wanted to share it. However, as a stand alone piece it’s not very strong or statement making. So we decided to search out 3 sassy dresses that would up the ‘oomph’ factor of this heel a little. Take a look at this Manolo bootie and the 3 dresses that we thought would work with it:
These booties have a very sophisticated and conservative feel. Not only that, but I believe black and gold will be one of the biggest trends this fall. In other words, they’re pretty fresh and of the moment as opposed to stuffy and boring.
To add a little more interest to them, they need a fun and interesting dress . Take a look at these 3 options from NastyGal:
Tied Crochet Maxi Dress, $68
This dramatic maxi dress paired with these booties would be ideal for a sexy date night look or an elegant and hip party. They’d add the right touch of sophistication to this bohemian and sexy dress.
Kickflip Dress, $110
This cutout detailed plaid frock is playful and sassy. It would work with this black boot by creating a rockabilly chic feel that could work for concerts or a night out with the girls.
Lace Peplum Dress, $58
Black and white is the ultimate in dramatic contrast. Adding these black booties to a soft white peplum dress like this one would make quite the statement. While I wouldn’t go for a brown belt as the model did here, I’d add a slim black version for a classic look. Layer with a black blazer for cooler weather or a more conservative feel.
So ladies (and possibly gentlemen), what do you think? Which one of these dresses would you pair with these Manolo Blahnik booties?
