I’m excited about new fall styles, really I am, but I’m also still somehow hung over from the bright, sunny and cheery styles of summer.
I love all the jewel tones, spicy shades and deep dark hues of the colder months but I’ve also still haven’t had enough of COLOR.

They’re a great pick-me-up, aren’t they? So summer vacation-y but because of the Moroccan-inspired look of the beading, also manages to have a cozy for-fall vibe.
The embroidery and beading remind me of the Christian Louboutin ‘Mexibeads’ pump we spotted on Kristen Bell early in the spring of this year. It doesn’t help that the soles on the Lisa for Donald Pliners have been colored green; it’s so much easier to imagine them painted in that Pantone-18 Chinese shade of red.
Still, the Lisa for Donald Pliner ‘Alexis’ pumps have their own original look and the sexy scalloped edges help achieve that.
