ShopBop’s ‘Top 5 Shoe Trends To Try This Season’ is an incredibly wearable list of some of our favorite shoe trends for fall 2012! We love that the quality of their brands is always above par and that they’re consistently showing us the freshest and most of the moment styles.
This specific collection covers some of the coolest styles for the fast approaching autumn season. From western inspired booties to shiny metallic pumps it’ll leave you drooling and your wallet a tad lighter:
1. Cap Toe
Cap toe pumps aren’t the only shoe receiving this awesome vintage inspired treatment. We’ve seen cap toe flats, boots and booties everywhere and we really love the extra polish that they add! This style would work with everything from bell bottom trousers to sexy pencil skirts.
2. High Shine
Ultra shiny metallic heels are bigger now than ever. We love a metallic shoe that isn’t too gaudy or over the top. Whether you go for a silver pump or bronze boot they’ll add a dose of glam to solids and prints alike. We suggest that trying a metallic bootie with printed jeans and an oversized denim button up for a great casual chic ensemble.
3. Black & White
Boutique 9 Kya Pump, $150
The black and white color combo is timeless and it’s easy to see why. It’s simple yet bold, classic yet fresh and modern and totally season-less. You can wear the color combo year round and it works for day or night as well. We like a black and white pump because it can be worn to the office or to after work cocktails with ease!
4. Country Road
A chic country inspired bootie is ideal for adding to skirts, dresses and skinnies. We love the idea of pairing a snakeskin boot with textured tights, knit shorts and a cozy boyfriend sweater.
5. Ankle Interest
This fall it’s all about the ankle. We’ll see plenty of straps, ties, buckles and cuffs that show off and embellish the ankle. Remember to wear cuffed jeans or trouser or a shorter dress with ankle gripping styles as they can cut off short legs and make you look a little stumpy if you wear them with midi dresses or skirts.
Which of these shoe trends would you like to try out this fall?
