Okay, so considering that Kanye West’s collab pearl-embroidered heels with Giuseppe Zanotti cost a staggering $6,000, maybe it isn’t so unbelievable that someone has made a look-for-less version of them.
We just didn’t think that someone would, knowing how controversial the sandals are. They’re not that bad-looking, but the fact that they were marketed as “elite,” worth almost a year’s rent, and seen on vitriol magnet Kim Kardashian have made the sandals so despised (especially on the Internet).

And the one who copied them? Australian label Friend of Mine with this “Barney” beaded sandal style:

Clearly, you can see that lots of changes have been made from the original. But there’s no mistaking it: the Friend of Mine Barney beaded sandals are a knockoff of the Kanye West x Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
