Hot or Not? Kate Mara in Nicholas Kirkwood Swirl Platform Pumps

We recently featured Kate Mara in a pair of Brian Atwood pumps here. The American Horror Story actress and Rooney Mara’s sister was spotted again, and this time, she was wearing a lovely pair of black-and-white Nicholas Kirkwood pumps with a whimsical swirl detail on the platform.

She paired her Kirkwoods with a flirty black drop waist dress and a simple, sleek hairstyle. On a scale from 1 to 10 on the understated but incredibly chic meter, I’d give Kate’s look here an 8. Her heels are amazing, so they get a 10, but she would have to wear red lips, an interesting hairstyle, or a bold cocktail ring to add a little extra “oomph” to her ensemble.
