The upcoming apocalyptic horror film, World War Z, has just premiered in London, United Kingdom on June 2. As expected, the lead star of the movie, Brad Pitt, was present and was accompanied by his partner, Angelina Jolie. Unfortunately, we won’t be talking about her in this post since we were not able to see her heels under her beautiful long black gown; however, reports say that she was wearing a pair of YSL pumps.
Anyway, we spotted three recording artists — Kimberly Wyatt, Natasha Bedingfield, and Iggy Azalea — in striking, edgy ensembles at the event, which was held at Empire Leicester Square and had a black-and-white theme. While it is customary for most female celebs to wear floor-sweeping gowns at a movie premiere, these three singers chose to show modern, edgy red carpet looks. Their footwear choices as well aren’t the usual — you’ll see no dainty sandals, for example. See them below, and share your thoughts with us.
Kimberly Wyatt in Camilla Skovgaard Heels
Kimberly Wyatt, a former Pussycat Dolls member, looked extra edgy in a white tuxedo on the red carpet event. Despite wearing a chic, androgynous trousers-and-jacket combination, she still managed to look hot and feminine as she wore a bright red lip shade and showed her cleavage in her plunging suit. To add more glamour to her modern look, she finished it off with a pair of silver sandals by Camilla Skovgaard.
The sandals are made of subtly snake-embossed straps in silver metallic leather. While the material alone is already modern, the multistrap caged design all the more makes these heels edgy. Although not visible, the sandals actually feature double ankle straps with zip fastening at the back. Completing this pair are the 4.5-inch stiletto heels!

Natasha Bedingfield in Luichiny “Pam Per” Platform Pumps
Embracing the theme of the event in a sexy and edgy black ensemble was British singer Natasha Bedingfield. Her crop top with long sleeves and cutout shoulders was worn with loose baggy pants, which aren’t something we usually see on red carpet events. To add a hint of girly appeal, she finished her look with a pair of pink platform pumps by Luichiny. Do you like the pop of color brought by her heels?
They’re pretty, huh? The 2.25-inch platforms and 5.5-inch heels essentially make up the contemporary silhouette of these pumps. While the color is already girly, the triple Mary Jane buckled straps and the dainty buckled ankle straps complete their lovely design.

Iggy Azalea in Giuseppe Zanotti Boots
Opting to show off her famous curves, Iggy Azalea wore a tight-fitting honeycomb dress from Alexander McQueen. Perhaps to balance the femininity of her dress, the 22-year-old Australian singer went for an edgy finish through a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti boots, which we’ve already seen on her last Thursday, May 30. Well, at least she was not in sweatpants at the red carpet premiere! Now, do you think she wore the boots better with a dress?
The gray cotton boots feature contrasting taupe lace-up fastening with silver-tone D-ring eyelets. Other details include peep toes, approximately 1.20-inch double platforms, and about 5.9-inch stiletto heels.
