While everyone attended pre-Emmy parties this past weekend, some celebrities (especially those with young children) attended the LA premiere of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 instead. It looked like they had a blast, too, posing with cartoon cutouts and mascots on the red carpet at Regency Village Theatre.

It was definitely a fitting atmosphere for the equally fun movie. Check out the trailer:
Anna Faris, who voices Sam Sparks in the movie, looked like a golden girl in her head-to-toe metallic look. She was wearing shiny shorts with a matching top from Armani paired with metallic Ruthie Davis “West Palm” sandals. We spotted these sandals in another color on Ginnifer Goodwin earlier this year.

Anna’s sandals aren’t available online, but the multicolored version is:

Anna may have stolen the spotlight, but there were other celebrities who also went to the event in interesting shoes. Check them out:
Elisabeth Rohm in Sam Edelman “Trent”
We love that Elisabeth Rohm, aka Serena Southerlyn from Law & Order, wore a stylish pair of Sam Edelman flats with a black dress for the event. Since she was with her young kids, it made sense for her to be comfortable so she could also run after them easily. Her flats are the “Trent” white capped-toe flats.

Alli Simpson in Printed White Pumps
Pop star Cody Simpson, whose song “La Da Dee” is featured in the animated movie, brought his little sister, Alli, as his date (isn’t that sweet). Alli looked elegant in a black dress paired with printed white pumps, and we’re digging the curved heels on her footwear. Do you like them, too?

Try another printed, curved-heel style from Nicholas Kirkwood:
Gena Lee Nolin in Donald Pliner “Devi3” Boots
Former Baywatch babe Gena Lee Nolin didn’t don the famous orange one-piece. She was all covered up at the premiere in jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket paired with knee-high “Devi3” suede boots from Donald Pliner. She was obviously showing us her mommy side here.

Marcia Gay Harden in Black Cage Sandals
While Gena Lee channeled her mommy side, Marcia Gay Harden went the opposite route and wore a youthful ensemble. She wore printed shorts and an orange blouse paired with black cage sandals. It’s actually hard to believe the Damages star is 54 years old and has a son in college.

Eva LaRue in Beige Cage Sandals
Another star who kept her attire young and trendy was Eva LaRue. She may be pushing 50, but she still looked like a hot mom at the premiere in white jeans and a sheer off-shoulder top paired with beige cage sandals. Maybe it was the cage sandals that gave Eva and Marcia their youthful vibe.
