Despite all the amazing outfits, fashion critics could not stop talking about Michelle Dockery’s marigold-and-black dress from the Barbara Casasola Fall 2012 collection. While the tight dress did not leave much space to breath in, observers could not agree on whether or not the Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated English actress and singer was relying on the tightness of the bodice to serve as support for her breasts. Dita Von Teese attended the same event in a purple three-fourth-sleeve sheath dress with a waist-cinching center from the the Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 collection. The 41-year-old burlesque dancer, model, costume designer, entrepreneur, and occasional actress styled the dress with a crystal-embellished clutch by Corto Moltedo and an older pair of purple satin-embroidered Christian Louboutin “Samira” pumps.
