However, for Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2014 haute couture runway show held during Paris Fashion Week, creative director Karl Lagerfeld combined high fashion with stylish comfort and sporty vibe. The collection features luxurious fabrics, sheer gowns, corseted midriffs, delicious sorbet colors, and pearly shades, flirty skirts that fall above the knees, and gorgeous embellishments.

Lagerfeld created a glorious spectacle set in a modern nightclub with two curving staircases and a revolving stage that revealed French musician Sébastien Tellier and his orchestra.
There was a sense of lightness to the show as models hopped and skipped on the runway in feminine looks paired with embellished bespoke shoes. Each outfit has its corresponding couture sneakers by Massaro, and the result is a revolutionary mix of high-fashion and urban streetwear.

Cara Delevingne opened the show and had the honor of walking down the runway as a Chanel bride for its finale. The stunning model was escorted by Lagerfeld’s godson, Hudson Kroenig, who looked handsome in his sparkly white suit and bespoke shoes.
Wearing a gorgeous sheer column gown and a pretty white feather wreath on her hair, Cara closed Chanel’s supersonic runway show, which revolutionized the concept of haute couture.
