It’s not a red carpet awards show without a Jennifer Lawrence moment. Yesterday at the Oscars, Jennifer decided to do a repeat of her famous fall on stage last year and tripped over her feet once again. This time, she didn’t even make it on stage or even inside the venue — she fell upon arriving on the red carpet and as soon as she exited her limo.

Is this a recurring theme for JLaw? Unless she considers falling her lucky charm, we sure hope not for her knees’ sake! Watch Jennifer fall and gracefully recover at the 2014 Oscars:

Most people are quick to blame Jennifer’s Christian Dior couture gown and Brian Atwood heels for her fall, but actually, fashion was faultless here. The real culprit was a traffic cone. Jennifer was so busy waving to the crowd and the cameras that she didn’t see the cone, which was the same color as the red carpet.

Jennifer quickly picked herself up after the fall and, after a big laugh, was ready to walk the red carpet, pose for the cameras, and hobnob with other big-name stars like Best Actress winner Cate Blanchett.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the following Brian Atwood platform sandals with staggering 6 inch heels weren’t responsible for Jennifer Lawrence’s fall. However high they are, though, they remain to be a celebrity favorite.
