How to Wear Black Ankle Booties with a Dress Like Dianna Agron

Dianna Agron served up a bit of edge while attending a live performance of AlunaGeorge at the W Hotel in her hometown of San Francisco. This was a refreshing change of pace from the stunning star, who always looks charming and effortlessly elegant in chic ensembles and pretty dresses.

Clad in head-to-toe black, Dianna looked cool and sophisticated in a stylish tail coat from Rodarte for Opening Ceremony over a short-sleeved dress with graphic prints from Theory. She kept her hair and makeup simple and finished off her look with an assortment of rings and gold necklaces, black tights, and black ankle booties from Rag & Bone.

This wasn’t the first time that Dianna opted for edgy footwear instead of pretty heels to complete her ensemble. Last month, the Glee star stepped out on the red carpet in a striking pair of black boots to celebrate the 35th anniversary of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). Dianna wore a sleeveless knit dress from Louis Vuitton’s fall 2014 collection, which features wool stripes, thin straps, and cutout feather details. She styled it with a black leather belt, an assortment of rings, and wraparound boots with curved heels from Louis Vuitton.
