Whether or not Lindsay Lohan will be able to do a comeback, we honestly do not know. With Oprah behind her, the chances are good. But given Lindsay’s track record, a relapse can happen. After all, she has been in and out of rehab for as long as we can remember. The ‘Freaky Friday’ star even recently revealed that she slipped and actually succumbed to a glass of wine. Tsk, tsk, tsk. It’s quite sad, really, because she actually has so much potential.

While the world may not exactly be on her side, we here at YNS are cheering her on. Our memory of how adorable and perfectly cute she was in The Parent Trap is what’s giving us hope that she will sober up for good and get her act together.

That said, she has been looking better lately. Two days ago, the actress was spotted sporting two different outfits that weren’t exactly stellar but definitely had potential to be style hits had she worn them right. While on her way to the Ed Sullivan Theater for her appearance on Late Show with David Letterman, LL sported spring’s pajama trend by wearing printed trousers and a matching top. She then capped off the combo with a lace jacket, a floppy hat, and some girly bow-detailed pumps. We’re not big fans of the pajama story, but she looked fairly decent in the whole ensemble. Can you say the same?

Well, did Lindsay nail the pajama look or not?

Li-Lo’s matching separates are from a European brand called Second Female. Her jacket hasn’t been ID’ed as of yet, but her pumps are from Isabel Marant. They’re called the “Poppy” and are decorated with a stitched bow on each vamp. While they don’t look high, the heels on these shoes are a good 4 inches tall. Several renditions of this style are available online, from classic black to two-tone and from metallic to snakeskin.

After arriving at the venue, Lindsay traded her pajama set for a really unique piano-patterned sequined dress from the UK brand Ashish. Lindsay punctuated the frock with a white coat and the same hat she wore with her previous outfit. Her finishing touches included some thigh-high stockings and a pair of black pointy cap-toe booties from Christian Louboutin.

Here’s the thing — while we fancy those red-bottom booties from Mr. CL, they just weren’t the perfect complement to Lindsay’s look. She also made the whole combination worse by wearing thigh-high nylons instead of the usual tights.

In any case, allow us to give you a closer look at Lindsay’s gorgeous heels. They’re called “Calamijane,” and “killer” would be the best word to describe them. These shoes feature extremely pointy toes that are detailed with perforated and scalloped metal caps. They also sit on pin-thin 4-inch-tall wrapped heels that you can easily use in case someone tries to kidnap you.

The Calamijane booties are actually quite sexy and will look great with skinnies and trousers. As for Lindsay’s pretty piano dress, that one isn’t available for the taking, but you can find Ashish merchandise at Farfetch if you’re interested in checking out its lineup.

Now, back to Lindsay, which of the above two looks do you prefer?
