Heidi Klum and Mel B are both judges on America’s Got Talent, but on the red carpet, they are often pushed into a different kind of competition as fashion critics tend to compare them with one another.
Recently, at the AGT event held at the Dolby Theatre, Mel B and Heidi Klum went for totally different red carpet styles, with Heidi being the clear winner for us.
The 40-year-old German model pulled out all the stops as she displayed plenty of décolletage, a sexy back, and endless legs in a wild leopard-print knee-length dress. Aside from the slinky dress’ open back, plunging cowl neckline, and thigh-high slit, Heidi’s blow-dried blond locks, smoky eyes, and nude lip shade also made her look sexy.

Heidi Klum’s dress was clearly the focal point of her red carpet ensemble as she just kept her accessories minimal, wearing only a short necklace and a pair of black pumps by Saint Laurent. These suede shoes feature pointy toes, 1 inch covered platforms, and 5 1/4 inch heels — very classic and very versatile.

Mel B, on the other hand, didn’t seem to be in the mood to doll up for the event. Unlike Heidi Klum, who showed off some skin, the 38-year-old recording artist covered up in an all-white ensemble consisting of a white tee and a matching pair of skinny jeans. She accessorized with pearl earrings, gold necklaces, and a bracelet. Her hair was styled in a braid, while her makeup was kept simple with a glossy nude lip shade. Although she looked fit, not to mention great in white, her rather casual style did not keep up with the model’s appearance.

Mel B’s metallic heels by Acne did capture our attention, though, because they added glamour to her effortless ensemble. They are very striking in silver, but it was the square face-etched plate on each vamp that turned our heads. These pointed-toe pumps are sophisticated and playful at the same time!
