Kate Bosworth is one of those celebrities whom fashion people are obsessed with, and we admit that we are among those people. Like Olivia Palermo, she is quite fascinating to watch on the red carpet and elsewhere. Her style is always sophisticated, chic, and graceful. There’s an elegance about her that you can’t quite pinpoint, something similar to what the French like to call ‘je ne sais quoi’.

Although we were a little disappointed that the 31-year-old actress didn’t step it up at the Met gala — yes, we were hoping for a little more — she was still flawless in her Stella McCartney gown on Monday night.

In any case, Kate made up for it with her most recent airport style. After attending the ball, the stylish blonde was spotted taking a flight back to LA with her man, Michael Polish.

For the plane ride, she wore black leather shorts and a white button-down shirt with a patch pocket detail. The combo was undoubtedly comfortable for travel, but it was also edgy — especially since she accessorized with super cool pointed ankle boots that were to die for. A pair of Ray-Ban peepers polished up her outfit, adding a dose of glam.

Wow. She really has a way with turning simple pieces into fantastic must-grabs!

Since we’re all about shoes here, let’s zoom in on Kate’s airport boots. They are from Rodarte. They’re a sleek and sophisticated pair crafted from snake-embossed and classic cowhide leather. Zipper and lace-up details at the center as well as belt-like straps at the heel counters decorate these shoes.

What sets these shoes apart from other boots are the acrylic blocks attached to the 2-inch-tall painted wooden heels. Zipper closures at the sides are provided for ease of wear.
