With summer coming soon, we’re expecting to see more ladies sporting pristine white dresses. White is, after all, perfect for the sunny weather. It doesn’t absorb heat, and it looks wonderful when mixed with black, gold, or something intensely bright. We’ve actually yet to meet anyone who doesn’t like wearing white, most especially white frocks.

‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Lucy Hale is no exception. She recently showed her fondness for a LWD while shooting an interview for Extra in Universal Studios. Her choice was a fit-and-flare number with a halter neckline. It is not your typical white dress because the piece is patterned and textured. To keep things extra interesting, the brunette cutie jazzed up her frock with equally patterned black-and-white ankle-strap sandals.

How do you like Lucy’s white ensemble? Do you fancy the way she mixed two different patterns?

Lucy’s black-and-white zigzag-patterned sandals gave her dress a rather unique touch. Simple heels in a solid color would have been a too predictable choice, so matching the dress with striking stilettos was the perfect way to score a hit with her monochromatic look. Do you agree?

We initially thought that the shoes were the Proenza Schouler two-tone strappies below, but the heel counters and white insoles on Lucy’s sandals tell us otherwise. If you fancy the actress’ heels, these Proenza Schouler sandals would be your best alternative. They are crafted from leather and feature 4-inch-tall heels.

They are, however, quite pricey, so if splurging almost $600 on footwear is out of the question for you, you may prefer the “La Paz” sandals from Chinese Laundry that boast mixed patterns inside and out. And while those heels don’t seem high enough, they are actually 4 inches tall. They retail at an easy $58 a pair at Amazon, so they’re certainly worth considering.

For sure, the La Paz from Chinese Laundry will do wonders to an all-white ensemble. To channel Lucy’s style, simply pair the shoes with the following lovely textured white dress from BCBG and then cap off your look with some jewelry and aviator sunnies.
