Yes, Ariana Grande knows that everyone thinks she should change her hair; she even addressed the issue on Instagram by saying she wears “more fake hair than every drag queen on earth.” However, she’s still not changing a thing. She’s keeping her perma-ponytail the way it is, and that goes for her Lolita-esque fashion sense as well.

Dressed in a predictable embellished white mini dress from Georges Chakra’s Spring 2013 couture line, Ariana was quite boring at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Even with the classic Saint Laurent “Janis” pumps on her feet, we find it difficult to muster any excitement for her look.

Oh, and by the way, Ariana also debuted the music video for the song “Break Free” today, which you can watch below. In it, she’s wearing the same white go-go boots from her seemingly Rihanna-inspired iHeartRadio performance.

Damaged hair or not, do you think it’s about time for the singer to break free from her little-girl look?

Ariana’s Saint Laurent “Janis” pumps in light beige are available at Nordstrom and at Saks Fifth Avenue.
