The last time we featured Emma Stone, she had long bedhead hair that she could tie into a loose side braid. For the 2014 Venice Film Festival yesterday, however, the 25-year-old actress had her signature red locks cut and styled into the trendy short bob that Hollywood seems to have fallen in love with this summer.
At first, we couldn’t see Emma’s new haircut because she wore it in an updo for the ‘Birdman’ photo call earlier in the day. We enjoyed admiring her Proenza Schouler Resort 2014 tweed shell top and woodblock-print trousers, though. And we most definitely enjoyed looking at her gorgeous Christian Louboutin “Door Knock” pumps, which feature cute little metal door knockers on the toes.

Later in the evening, at the red carpet premiere of ‘Birdman’, Emma finally debuted her new, shorter do. The red tones in her hair perfectly complemented the dark green color of her Valentino fall 2014 couture tulle gown. Emma looked fresh and radiant — and we totally love it!

Maybe Emma should’ve switched hairdos for the photo call and the premiere? The former hairstyle was very formal for a casual look, while the second was too casual for such an elegant gown. What do you think?
It’s difficult to tell what shoes Emma wore underneath her gown, but from what we can make out in the pictures below, she had on the Jimmy Choo “Xenia” sandals.

The ‘Xenia’ is sold out online, but you can score this “Louise” style that features the same crisscrossing suede straps on lower heels at Neiman Marcus:
