Many people probably think that professional tennis players spend all their time practicing every single day, especially now that the final Grand Slam of the year is about to take place on Monday. The female World No. 1 tennis player, though, was seen having fun in the Big Apple. Serena Williams is making the most of her stay in New York City a week before the 2014 US Open, where she will be striving to win her third women’s singles title in a row.
On Wednesday, the 32-year-old athlete was at the Delta Air Lines karaoke event before she stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman, where she played tennis against the host.
A day after showing off her tennis skills in high-heeled sandals, the defending US Open champion was seen in another pair of heeled shoes while making some sushi rolls alongside Chef Masaharu Morimoto at the 15th Annual Taste of Tennis Gala held at W Hotel.

Serena Williams showed off her styling prowess yet again in a short white sleeveless dress featuring a sheer mesh overlay, which displayed her athletic figure.
Completing her look were Alaia ankle boots with mesh inserts and black suede trims in a contoured curved design. They also have zipper fastenings at the back, open almond toes, and 4 inch heels.
