Elizabeth Banks may be 40, but it doesn’t mean her style has to be boring. At the 2014 American Music Awards, she went for a vibrant, playful outfit choice.
Her flirty Peter Pilotto spring 2015 mini dress was a far cry from her usual grown-up outfits while on a promo tour for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1. The dress is girly in hot pink with red and orange plexiglass embellishments, a laser-cut design, pleated panels at the skirt, and a plunging neckline. The silhouette may be a bit twee for the actress, but she managed to pull it off.
It’s good to see a celebrity her age try new and different looks to stay fresh and interesting. Her side-swept and partly braided blond hair and coral red lip shade matched the playfulness of her outfit.

Elizabeth Banks’ styling was perfect! She wore a Casa Reale ring and Melissa Kaye Jewelry earrings, carried a Reece Hudson clutch in gunmetal, and completed the ensemble with Nicholas Kirkwood “Savara” sandals in glossy red patent leather. These stunning shoes are both sexy and fun with sculpted curved straps, clear PVC sides, and sculpted heels that measure about 4 inches.
