Meet the Top 10 Shoe Bloggers of October 2014

Time flies so fast. October has come to an end, and winter will be here before we know it! Fall and winter are usually associated with dull and gloomy fashion. Understated colors dominate the style scene. For many fashion bloggers, however, this doesn’t have to be the case.

Our top 10 shoe bloggers of October have shown various ways of glamming up during the cold days, keeping their looks striking with the help of statement heels. Most chose gladiator sandals, boots, and furry heels.

1. Lily S. from Los Angeles, United States

Lily S. of PSLily Boutique is all set to electrify winter in her blue-and-white number. We are so in love with her royal blue Charlotte Russe knee-high boots, which are perfect for the season! No one has to settle for the usual black, gray, or brown pairs; Lily’s blue boots are just the thing to help create a standout look.

Her other outfit, a monochrome ensemble, was amped up by a striking pair of red heels.

2. Jenny Tsang from Los Angeles, United States

Jenny Tsang of Tsangtastic showed us another way to wear a loose knit sweater. Instead of wearing it casually with leggings, she paired it with a sleek zipped skirt. She completed the look with brown Dolce Vita pumps, which are to die for. With the silhouette of ankle boots, they perfected her chic autumn getup!

She also put together a tomboy-chic look using a furry white sweater, distressed boyfriend jeans, and a pair of black-and-white booties from Gwen Stefani’s GX label. Interesting fall look, yes?

3. Kirsty Mooney from United Kingdom

What a hot and chic way to welcome autumn! Kirsty Mooney of Kirsty Doll embraced the new season with a sexy yet timeless little black dress, styled with fall’s key pieces — a furry jacket and a pair of over-the-knee suede boots. The result was a really gorgeous look!

4. Helena Branquinho from Portugal

Take a cue from Helena Branquinho if you’re into laid-back but fashionable ensembles. Donning a simple white tee and a maxi skirt, she infused the overall look with serious style by wearing a pair of fringed sandals. Now, that’s interesting!

Here’s another relaxed getup amped up by statement heels. Claudia Nascimento of Style Statement opted for a pair of tricolor (black, red, and white) sandals, giving her casual outfit a bolder vibe.

6. Emma Hill from United Kingdom

Feathered sandals are trendy in fall. Emma Hill of EJ Style showcased a pair from MissGuided, and we can’t help but fall in love with them. Since they’re so cute and fancy, wearing them with simple distressed boyfriend jeans has a striking effect. They clearly stood out from her entire ensemble.

In another getup, she opted for velvet Kurt Geiger boots, which are also on-trend. They are the center of attention in the outfit, heavily contrasting with her knit sweater and tan skirt.

7. Wenny Yolanda from Indonesia

Wenny Yolanda of Twinkle Little Heels is from Indonesia, a country that has an almost entirely tropical climate. It’s either dry or rainy. This explains Wenny’s rather cheery ensemble, consisting of a knit top, a patterned miniskirt, and a pair of black-and-yellow heels. Those gladiator sandals are hard to miss not only because of the pop of yellow but also because of the bold silhouette with cutout details at the heels and platforms.

8. Silvia Postolatiev from United Kingdom

Silvia Postolatiev of Rock & Roses displayed both simplicity and elegance in a fall outfit a few days ago. She wore a sophisticated long coat in a camel color over a long-sleeved gray knit top and a matching fitted skirt. The outfit was head-turning! To complete the chic autumn ensemble, she wore a pair of white sandal booties with ankle tie fastenings.

9. Sandra Bendre from Romania

Gladiator boots are here to stay! Sandra Bendre demonstrated a cool-chic way of wearing a black pair of knee-high gladiator cutout boots. She slipped into a plain white tee and faux leather black shorts, which she styled with a coat and a fedora, and voila! She was hard to ignore in this getup.

She also shared some tips on how else you could wear gladiator boots.

10. Denisia A. from United Kingdom

Not sure about playing with some colors this season? You might want to take inspiration from Denisia A. of Polishing Colors. Last month, she selected contrasting pieces that turned out to be chic put together. This included a black fitted blouse, a knee-length pastel skirt, and a pair of brown knee-high boots.

We were also hooked by her casual wear glamorized by a faux-fur striped jacket and gladiator sandals.
