Following her crazy five-month marriage to One Tree Hill hunk Chad Michael Murray, and four years more of working together on set as if nothing happened, Sophia Bush has pretty much kept her personal life beneath the radar. Instead, the 32-year-old has been more known for being vocal about her advocacies on nature as well as women empowerment, going as far as to list herself as an activist in her Twitter bio. That’s why it comes as no surprise that not a lot knew that she and Chicago PD co-star Jesse Lee Soffer have called it quits recently (or that they were even together in the first place), with the media zooming in more on her latest passion project – a fragrance line called I Smell Great. True to the actress’ advocacies, the fragrance line gets down to the core of the relationship between women and beauty, all while keeping their products paraben-free, animal cruelty-free, and 100% biodegradable. What a human being.
Her newly-launched line landed her an invitation to the 2015 Fragrance Foundation Awards, which was also attended by big name celebrities such as Kendall Jenner. Sophia wore a gorgeous blue dress with a classic cut and oversized pleating by Zac Posen, which she styled with jewelry by Nikos Koulis and a pair of silver pointed toe pumps by Casadei. The actress styled her hair into a middle-parted updo, and kept her makeup natural and fresh-looking.
