It’s been four years since Rooney Mara starred as the Goth-punk computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. And up until today, it seems that the character’s rather dark Gothic style has remained with her.
Proving that she has mastered the art of dark glamour, the 30-year-old actress arrived at the world premiere of her new movie, Pan, wearing a black flouncy ankle-length dress by Givenchy featuring see-through panels, black sequins, and tiered ruffles. For a stronger Gothic vibe, she styled the frock, which highlighted her alabaster complexion, with a black choker and a pair of black sandals. She stayed true to the Gothic look by wearing a sleek top knot and accentuating her facial features with strong eyebrows, rosy blush-on, and pink lip gloss.
This was clearly a far cry from her Tiger Lily character in the upcoming fantasy-adventure movie, where she will be seen in brightly colored costumes and makeup.
