Awesome news for all women out there: Sandra Bullock revealed that her role in the film Our Brand is Crisis was actually intended to be played by a man – specifically, George Clooney. After other projects became priority, the film was cast aside for almost eight years until Sandra called up and asked if the studio was willing to change the gender of the lead role.
Sandra also shared that the only hesitation she got from the studio was whether the scriptwriter could do it, which to her was a healthy response from Hollywood.

George Clooney also shares that more roles can be rewritten for women if people would just keep their eyes open. Sandra adds that even if there’s still a lot of climbing to be done for women in the industry, she was already happy at how the topic is being talked about.
Sandra wore a skirt and top by David Koma, which she paired with Anita Ko earrings and nude pumps.
