In October 2015, Rooney Mara hit the black carpet at the premiere of her new movie “Pan” held at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City. She became vegan in 2012 and credits her diet for her svelte frame.

‘Of course, I eat, I eat a lot. I love to eat. But I’m a vegan. I eat all the time. I even eat bread – especially if it’s good and if I get it free,’ Rooney told New York Post in 2017.

‘Well, I’m gluten-free. A bunch of people in my family have celiac disease, so I stopped eating wheat about a year ago, and right away I noticed a difference. I’m also vegan; I basically eat only fruits and vegetables. I’ve never felt better than I do now,’ she told InStyle in 2013.

The British-American fantasy adventure film is directed by Joe Wright and written by Jason Fuchs.
