When season two of the American mystery drama web television series The OA was released on Netflix on March 22, 2019, fans were surprised to discover Zendaya portraying Fola Uzaki, a gamer and puzzle enthusiast who helps Karim Washington (Kingsley Ben-Adir) with the overarching mystery of the narrative.

Zendaya appears in the first episode “Angel of Death,” the fifth episode “The Medium & the Engineer,” and the seventh episode “Nina Azarova.” She first appears in the series when Karim finds her in a rundown house while he’s searching for the missing girl, Buck/Michelle Vu (Ian Alexander).

While Zendaya was praised for her performance, Netflix canceled the series after two seasons on August 5, 2019. She did not join her co-stars at the premiere of The OA: Part II at the LACMA in Los Angeles.

In October 2015, the then 19-year-old actress had already proven her toughness. Remember when she spoke up against Giuliana Rancic’s racial slurs?

However, as tough as she is personality-wise, she’s always looked very feminine and dainty on the red carpet in dresses and heels.

At the amfAR Inspiration Gala, she decided to shake up the world of fashion in a menswear-inspired look from Dean and Dan Caten. Check out Zendaya working the outfit on the gala’s red carpet below:

Zendaya walked the red carpet in a gray shorts-suit, which she wore underneath a button-down collared shirt.

The Disney actress finished her look with a pair of crystal-embellished heels. Her entire outfit is from DSquared2.
