On May 12, 2011, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge was a vision in white when she tied the knot in a custom strapless Vera Wang gown.

She married Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. They have a daughter, Dixie Pearl Followill, born in 2012, and a son, Winston Roy Followill, born in 2019.

The couple met for the first time while attending the famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2007 where Kings of Leon were performing.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin also got married at San Ysidro Ranch in 2003. 11 years later, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson said their vows at the same nostalgic location tucked away in the leafy foothills of Montecito.

According to an April 2013 interview with Tatler, it was love at first sight.

“He was performing and as soon as I saw him, I couldn’t stop thinking about him,” Aldridge told the British magazine. A mutual friend ended up introducing them, and luckily he liked her as well.

She also revealed details about their early romance in an interview with Net-A-Porter’s digital magazine The Edit.

“I knew he liked me, so I played it cool. I never exchanged numbers as I just knew we were going to see each other again … We’re so compatible; he’s the coolest guy I’ve ever met, and my best friend.”

In December 2015, Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge looked amazing in red outside Huffington Post in New York City, promoting the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show ahead of its December 8 TV debut.

As a model, Lily is always expected to look her best. And to prove her styling prowess, she wore two different — but equally striking — outfits as she promoted the popular fashion show.

The then 30-year-old stunner first appeared in a red Juan Carlos Obando ensemble, which highlighted her slender frame as well as her sculpted shoulders.

The outfit included a pair of red pants and a matching backless top that featured a plunging keyhole cutout and straps that are wrapped around the neck.

Lily paired the daring outfit with nude open-toed sandals from Gianvito Rossi — not an ideal pick given the cold Big Apple weather, but stunning nonetheless.

She added a regal touch to the look with a French braided hairstyle and minimal makeup.

Lily completed her outfit with a pair of nude leather Gianvito Rossi “Portofino” sandals, which feature adjustable ankle straps, extended backstays, and about four-inch heels.

You can get them in different versions at Farfetch and Nordstrom.

Later that day, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model traded her sexy but elegant two-piece outfit for a simple color-blocked dress by Longchamp.

The frock featured a very short hem and a plunging neckline, showcasing her endless stems and giving a peek at her cleavage.

To complete the more casual look, she teamed the clingy dress with black Tabatha Simmons booties and ditched the accessories, save for a small pair of silver earrings.

She also undid her braided crown, wearing her long locks down and slightly tousled.

Lily’s Tabitha Simmons “Eva” booties are made of suede and feature zip front fastenings, triple buckled straps, peep toes, and about 4.5-inch heels.

If you fancy these booties, you can get them at Shopbop and Saks Fifth Avenue.
