Katy Perry once admitted that she sometimes feels like she has a split personality, and that her bizarre outfit choices reflect her moods. This must explain why she is often photographed in whimsical ensembles.

While she usually pulls off her quirky style, we thought that her recent appearance at the Stella McCartney Fall 2016 Collection Presentation was a bit too much. There were just too many trends happening at once!

Katy wore a cat-print long-sleeved dress, which she paired with a cream faux fur coat draped over her shoulders, a pair of asymmetrical sandals and a large quilted “Falabella” clutch. Drawing further attention to herself, she topped off her ensemble with an olive turban, which obviously did not complement her outfit.

The “Roar” hitmaker would have looked better if she ditched the coat and turban and swapped her heels for a pair of nude pumps.

What we loved about her look, though, was her flawless makeup! Katy sported dark smoky eyeshadow, dark mascara and glossy peach lipstick.

Katy’s asymmetric strappy sandals are from Stella McCartney’s spring/summer 2012 collection. They are made of faux leather and feature open round toes, buckled ankle straps and about four-inch heels.
