Zendaya never fails to surprise us with her unique red carpet looks, and she did it again at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

While other stars stuck to the usual revealing and sexy dresses on the red carpet, Zendaya served up a fierce androgynous look — proof that one can also look sexy without flashing the flesh!

Known for her killer sense of style and ever-changing hairstyle, the 19-year-old actress debuted her new mullet ‘do, which she paired with a menswear-inspired tuxedo suit from DSquared2’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection.

“This hair was actually kind of an out-of-the-blue type hair,” Zendaya told ET about her David Bowie-inspired mullet.

“I wanted to do the short blonde, but I wanted to do something different, so I was like, ‘Let’s do a mullet!”

She added, “I’m like, ‘Why not?’ “I wanted to bring that feel into it. It’s kind of like a throwback a little bit.”

She rocked a sleek black double-breasted blazer with a crisp white shirt underneath, paired with wide-leg pants.

Zendaya traded her boyish look for a glamorous warrior princess theme for the party.

Never one to shy away from a fashion risk, she wore a super sexy chiffon dress from Fausto Puglisi’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection.

Her bra was visible underneath the sheer frock, which featured a plunging neckline, cutout long sleeves, and a hip-high split that put her long slender legs on display.

The former Disney star drew further attention to her enviable legs with a tall pair of gladiator sandals.

She completed the look by pulling her mullet hair back into a ponytail and leaving her full fringe hanging just past her well-defined eyebrows.
