Filmed in Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand, filming wrapped in May 2004. Biel traveled to Australia to shoot after completing filming for the third installment of the Blade film series, Blade: Trinity.

“I went and met with Rob Cohen and talked about the script and we discussed it for an hour or so. I was still trying to decide if I wanted to do another action film coming straight off Blade Trinity. Although they are very different films, it was another big-budget action film and I was really hesitant because I might be typecast, but Rob sold me on it,” Biel said about the casting process.
“It was an interesting idea to have these two people who are in this intense, strenuous job and not be allowed to have a relationship under those circumstances,” she added.

“I liked the idea that it would not be a cheesy Hollywood movie where rules go out of the window because you really stick to rules when you’re navy pilots,” Biel said.
“You can’t be dating another pilot yet these two people are in love with each other so how do you deal with that?”
Born on March 3, 1982, in Ely, a city in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, Jessica Biel was 23 years old when Stealth was released on July 29, 2005. 11 years older, her co-star Josh Lucas celebrated his 34th birthday on June 20, 2005.
