Sarah Jessica Parker looked fabulous at the opening night of the off-broadway revival of “Shining City” held at the Irish Repertory Theatre in New York City.
The 51-year-old Footloose actress attended the event to show her support for her husband, Matthew Broderick, who leads the cast.

His performance in the play by Irish playwright Conor McPherson won him a 2017 Obie Award presented by the American Theatre Wing. Matthew Broderick was also recognized at the 62nd annual Obie Awards for his role in Wallace Shawn’s Evening at the Talk House.
“When I was offered the part, which is basically all monologues in an Irish accent from Dublin, I read it and read it and panicked—and said I didn’t want to do it,” he said about his initial hesitation to star in Shining City.
“I said that two weeks before it started. So that was not good. And my son said, ‘Dad, get out of your comfort zone. You can do it.’ So I listened to him. So I did it.”

SJP was her usual glamorous self for the event. She chose to wear a patterned dress, part of Temperley London’s Fall 2016 collection.
Matthew, a two-time Tony winner, kept it incredibly dapper. He stood by his wife’s side in a navy checked suit, a pink dotted shirt, and a pair of brown loafers.

Sarah Jessica looked elegant in her chosen ensemble, which was centered around a midi frock covered in intricate swirl embroidery.
The floaty black number also featured sheer half sleeves, a scooped neckline, and a full skirt with a narrowly-banded waist.

The shortest “Sex and the City” actress picked a selection of jewelry to glam up her already-busy dress. She accessorized with layered necklaces, bangles, a few rings, and a crystal chain bag that she slung across her body.
To show off her feet, the actress wore a pair of glittery slingback pumps. Can you help us identify them? They feature adjustable slingback straps, pointed toes, and rose detail on the vamps.
SJP finished off her look by wearing her blonde tresses down and in loose waves. She highlighted her eyes with both subtle smoky eyeshadow and dark eyeliner.
