Salma Hayek lent her voice to the lesbian character of Teresa del Taco in the animated film Sausage Party. She referred to the film as “the naughtiest thing I’ve ever done” and expressed her surprise at saying some of the lines out loud.

Despite the unconventional nature of the film, Hayek had a great time working on it, describing it as a unique and wild experience.

One of the film producers revealed that Salma Hayek showcased her improvisational skills while portraying the character Teresa Del Taco in the film. During the recording sessions, she came up with the memorable line, “Once you go taco, you never go back-o.”

Sausage Party is the highest-grossing R-rated animated film to date, earning a worldwide total of $140.4 million.

“I don’t know how they got me! I swear to god, I don’t know. I think I was hypnotized. I remember being shocked, and then, I was recording it. I don’t know how they got me on board, but I’ll tell you, I am one naughty, naughty taco,” she told Collider in April 2016.

“She is a bad girl, in a different way. I know I’ll never play another one like that, for sure. I saw the trailer and my husband said, “Oh, my god, this is hardcore!” I said, “No, baby, that’s the kindergarten version. Brace yourself!” It’s the naughtiest thing I’ve ever done. I never thought I’d ever say some of those things out loud. But, I had a lot of fun working with Seth. It’s a different kind of crazy.”

Salma Hayek had previously lent her voice to animated films on two occasions. Her first venture into the 2011 American computer-animated adventure comedy film Puss in Boots, where she voiced the street-smart Tuxedo cat Kitty Softpaws.

She followed it up with another animated film, the 2012 3D stop-motion animated swashbuckler comedy film The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (released internationally as The Pirates! Band of Misfits), where she voiced Cutlass Liz.

Salma Hayek Serves Summertime Chic in White and Red Floral Dress

In August 2016, Salma Hayek headed to ABC studios to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote the 2016 adult computer-animated black comedy film Sausage Party.

She looked the epitome of summertime chic as she strutted her stuff in a white and red floral-printed dress.

The dress had a pussy bow detail, short sleeves, and a straight hem that fell just right above her knees.

Salma skipped the jewelry — except for her wedding band — and accessorized the look with a pair of sunnies and a white Gucci hobo bag.

The “Dusk Till Dawn” actress casually wore her hair down in natural waves and sported barely there makeup, keeping the rest of her look simple.

She then boosted her height by a couple of inches with Gucci’s “Carolina” wedge sandals.

Salma switched up her daytime look for the show, trading her summery dress for a dramatic black lace dress by Alexander McQueen.

The mom-of-one left the building in the same lacy dress. She accessorized the look with a statement ring and hid her eyes behind a pair of sunnies.
